I am a designer and maker of tapestry artworks. My pieces are handwoven on a high warp frame in the Gobelin technique, using predominantly wool weft and cotton warp.

Influenced by the forms and styles of late Modernism, my work explores landscapes and wild places, both physical environments and states of mind. Through abstraction, I consider how simple colour, line and form can be woven to invoke a quiet journey of exploration. With a reduced colour pallet, I’m continually exploring how visually simple forms can be enhanced with divergent colour tones.

Based in London, I am a selected member of The Society of Designer Craftsmen and the Craft Council. My weaving practice is balanced with teaching, and I enjoy helping others develop their own journey in woven textiles.
