Individually hand crafted books from a workshop in Wales bound with silkscreen printed papers and recycled Japanese fabrics.

Carole creates all her sketchbooks, notebooks and journals from sheets of quality paper a reel of thread and a pot of glue. Pages are hand stitched and bound and enclosed in hard back covers. Each book is finished with printed papers in her own designs or colourful fabrics.

Various binding techniques are explored creating unusual books and making full use of alternative methods that can be employed to join sheets of paper together. Carole aims to make every book a delight to own and use.

Carole enjoys teaching the craft of bookbinding and is always ready to take on commissions for special books.
